Christmas & Countdown
December brings cool winter weather (14–18°C) and a festive atmosphere that transforms Hong Kong. The Hong Kong WinterFest lights up the harbour with a towering Christmas tree, malls compete with elaborate decorations, and seasonal markets sell mulled wine and handicrafts. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve countdown parties fill the streets, clubs, and rooftop bars. The Hong Kong New Year Countdown fireworks are the grand finale. A magical month of concerts, markets, and celebrations.
