"The Fabulous Five: Love's Joy & Heartache" is a prestigious concert presented as part of the Hong Kong Chamber Music Association’s 2026 Concert Series. This evening brings together an exceptional lineup of local musicians: mezzo-soprano Zhang Yinjing, soprano Tan Lexuan, alongside Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra concertmaster, violinist Gedehuote (transliterated), assistant principal cellist Bei Le'an, and pianist Li Jialing. Together, they will deliver an intimate exploration of love's spectrum, from joy to heartbreak, at the historic Ladies' Recreation Club.
Program
The performance is curated in two distinct halves:
- First Half: Eternal Love in Opera:A showcase of classic operatic arias by masters such as Massenet, Bizet, Puccini, and Bellini, capturing the emotional intensity of their iconic heroines.
- Second Half: Poetic Piano Trios:A shift to the delicate world of chamber music, featuring Shostakovich’s Seven Romances, Schubert’s Notturno, and Mozart’s Piano Trio in B-flat major.

The concert will be held at the Ladies' Recreation Club on The Peak, offering a sophisticated and intimate environment for chamber music lovers. Please plan your transport to The Peak in advance.

- Bulk Discount: 5% off for 2-3 tickets, 10% off for 4-5 tickets, and 15% off for 6 tickets or more.
- Notes: Seating is unassigned. The performance is not suitable for children under 8. The total duration is approximately 75 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
