Overview
Highly anticipated and full of youthful spirit!
'Ping Pong Boys' tells the story of a passionate young table tennis player who, while pursuing their dreams, encounters a former tennis prodigy, a current national team member, and a hardworking senior. As they strive to balance athletics, academics, and personal life, each character delivers powerful smashes, only to find themselves grappling with the feeling of helplessness. The high-speed exchanges on the table serve as a metaphor for their desperate cries about the future. Can mastery of spin and technical prowess truly allow one to dictate the trajectory of life's next ball?
Following its successful table-read debut in early 2023 and an invitation to perform a reading by the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, the creative team has spent a year refining the production. We are now thrilled to announce the official premiere in 2026, inviting you to witness the birth of the ultimate smash.
