Plot Summary
The story follows Aladin, a former royal guard, and his wife, a favored royal handmaiden, as they face financial ruin due to Aladin's uncontrollable spending. To escape their mounting debts, the couple hatches a "foolproof" plan to feign illness, hoping to gain sympathy from the King and Queen. However, their elaborate lie is uncovered by the righteous Prince, who must grapple with an impossible choice: uphold justice or stand by his friends. As the royals arrive at their doorstep, the legendary Genie makes a long-awaited return to the family home—will the truth prevail, or will the farce continue?
Cast & Creative Team
This production features a talented ensemble cast including Wong Sze-fung, Lit Ying-ho, Leung Ka-wai, Ho Kwan-sun, Keung King-long, Tsang Ho-ching, and Lung Man-chi. The creative direction is led by producer and artistic director Ko Chi-sum and director Wong Ka-wai, with original music and arrangements by Ma Wing-ling and Tse Tai-shun.
