Northern Metropolis Marathon 2026

Program Introduction

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Heung Yee Kuk, the inaugural "Northern Metropolis Marathon 2026" is set to take place in November 2026! This brand-new marathon is expected to attract approximately 10,000 running enthusiasts, providing an excellent platform for runners to showcase their perseverance and challenge themselves. The route will start from the Heung Yee Kuk and extend to the North District Sports Ground, showcasing the vitality and scenery of the Northern Metropolis along the way.

Participation Requirements

To ensure safety and competitive standards, participants in the challenge groups must meet the following qualifications:

• Full Marathon: Must have participated in and completed at least one local or overseas full marathon within the last two years (based on year).
• Half Marathon: Must have participated in and completed at least one local or overseas half marathon within the last two years (based on year).
