About the Exhibition

"Living with Green: Sustainability in Every Step" is a collaborative cross-disciplinary art project organized by the Student Affairs Office of the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE), PolyU, and the Tzu Chi Environmental Action Center. The core objective is to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainable development concepts into public consciousness through four themes: clothing, food, housing, and transportation, guiding the community to explore ways to live in harmony with nature. This event is more than just an art exhibition; it is an immersive environmental education experience.

Highlights

• Sustainable Fashion & Upcycling: The first phase focuses on "clothing." Student curators have created a visually stunning "mountain of clothes" using approximately 1,500 pieces of recycled garments. They also showcase upcycled denim accessories, bringing the concept of circular fashion to life.
• Immersive Experiences & Reflection: The venue features simulated disaster zone living facilities and refugee camp tents. Accompanied by real-life footage, visitors are invited to reflect on the burden of consumerism on the environment and gain insights into Tzu Chi's relief and environmental protection efforts.
• Interactive Workshops: The public can participate in hands-on workshops to learn the process of upcycling, turning the concept of "sustainability in every step" into tangible actions.
• Bridging Campus and Community: This project aims to cultivate a new generation of "green citizens" by linking various social welfare and educational institutions to promote ESG education, demonstrating the power of community co-creation.

Program Overview

Conceived and built entirely by students, the exhibition comprises six interactive zones. In addition to clothing upcycling displays, it combines multimedia installations, documentary footage, and interactive elements, allowing visitors to feel the environmental cost of excessive consumption and find solutions.

The exhibition is held at the "Tzu Chi Environmental Action Center Co-creation Space." Visitors can appreciate the art while gaining a deeper understanding of the connection between environmental protection and humanitarian relief.
