This exhibition aims to present the golden age of Chinese history—the Sui and Tang dynasties—to the public in Hong Kong through a curated selection of high-quality reproductions and display panels of these iconic cave murals.

Visitor Information

The exhibition will tour various designated public libraries and sports centres throughout Hong Kong from April to October 2026. This programme is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and co-organised by the Office for Promoting Chinese Culture and the Dunhuang Academy. Admission is free, and we welcome the public to visit and immerse themselves in the artistic charm of the Sui and Tang dynasties.
