Overview
"M+ Sigg Collection: Inner Worlds" is the third installment in the M+ Sigg Collection exhibition series, following the successful exhibitions "From Revolution to Globalisation" (2021–2023) and "Another Story" (2023–2025). This exhibition offers a fresh and profound perspective on the M+ collection, focusing on the period between the mid-1990s and the 2010s—a time characterized by China's rapid socio-economic transformation and increasing integration into the global landscape.
Program Highlights
The exhibition adopts emotion as its entry point, exploring how 38 artists portrayed a spectrum of complex feelings, including joy, melancholy, tranquility, anxiety, doubt, and wonder. These works serve as visceral responses to a nation in flux. In our increasingly interconnected present, these pieces offer modern audiences a chance to connect with the personal and collective experiences of that transformative era, inviting visitors to observe the artists' internal landscapes with curiosity and empathy.

The exhibition is hosted at the Sigg Gallery on the 2nd Floor of M+, located in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The venue is easily accessible via MTR Austin or Kowloon stations, with clear signage throughout the district.
