This performance delves into the rich musical lineage of the Bach family and their contemporaries, exploring the enduring influence of J.S. Bach's genius through diverse arrangements and compositions.

The program is carefully curated to showcase the evolution of the Baroque style, featuring works such as J.C.F. Bach’s Symphony in D minor (WFV I/3), J.C. Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in F minor (W C73), and Elena Kats-Chernin’s 'Re-Inventions' for recorder and strings. Audience members will be treated to a dialogue between historical authenticity and modern interpretation, highlighted by a transcriptions of Marcello’s Oboe Concerto in D minor.
