Overview
This summer, the popular CHIIKAWA-themed exhibition returns! Creative brand AllRightsReserved (ARR) has once again partnered with official licensor Spiralcute International to present the all-new "CHIIKAWA ARTIVERSE" exhibition. From August 1 to September 6, 2026, visitors are invited to K11 MUSEA and the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade to explore a deeper side of artist Nagano’s creative world, moving beyond just "cute" to uncover the profound artistic charm of the characters.
Highlights & The Four Universes
The exhibition divides the infinite worldview of CHIIKAWA into four distinct conceptual domains:
- Original Art Universe: Featuring over 130 precious original illustrations by Nagano, showcased for the first time in Hong Kong.
- Music Interaction Universe: Engage with the stories and melodies of the characters through interactive installations.
- Installation Art Universe: Witness the overseas debut of the massive "Siren" sculpture and various characters from the film version.
- Kinetic Art Universe: Giant CHIIKAWA Carousel: The centerpiece of the exhibition, this is the world's first giant Chiikawa carousel installation designed by Nagano. Situated on the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, it offers a dreamlike experience against the backdrop of the Victoria Harbour skyline.
Interactive Experience
The exhibition enhances immersion with special interactive elements. Visitors who purchase the special ticket package will receive an exclusive "pencil-shaped interactive prop" to use throughout the various zones to cheer for their favorite characters.
Venue & Access
The exhibition is split into two main ticketed areas within K11 MUSEA:
- Indoor Exhibition Area: Located at the K11 Art & Cultural Centre Kunsthalle (6/F), including the exhibition space and the merchandise store.
- Outdoor Exhibition Area: Located at the Ground Floor Promenade, featuring the spectacular Giant CHIIKAWA Carousel.
