'Beautiful Hong Kong 2.0' is a meticulously crafted cross-disciplinary audio-visual feast, set to take place on September 1, 2026, at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall. Curated by the renowned composer Dr. Mei Kwong-chiu, who serves as the composer, text writer, and director, the performance aims to depict the unique landscape where Hong Kong’s cosmopolitan vibrancy meets its natural beauty.

This event is more than just a concert; it is a profound multi-sensory experience. The program skillfully blends Chinese and Western musical elements with dance, calligraphy, and dynamic imagery. It translates scenes such as the dawn at the harbor, spectacular sunsets, and the interplay of nature into a flowing symphonic poem. Audience members will witness a harmonious convergence of spoken word, elegant calligraphy, and melodic composition, capturing the essence of the 'Pearl of the Orient' through artistic stage interpretation.
Production & Performers
Presented by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Hong Kong Member Association and masterminded by Dr. Mei Kwong-chiu, this production brings together various artists to present a moving scroll of the city’s nature and cultural heritage.
Venue & Access
The performance will be held at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall. Audience members are encouraged to travel via MTR to Central Station and walk towards Edinburgh Place.
