The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) invites audiences to embark on a symphonic journey through the monumental works of Bruckner. This concert is conducted by the HK Phil's new Music Director, Tarmo Peltokoski, who is renowned for his astute musicality and profound respect for the score. Under his baton, the orchestra will explore the depth of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, the "Romantic," navigating its progression from the dawn-like opening to the poignant slow movement, the lively hunt-inspired scherzo, and the triumphant finale.

Adding to the evening's grandeur, acclaimed pianist Martin Helmchen joins the orchestra to perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, K. 491. Celebrated by BBC Music Magazine for his "crystalline tone," Helmchen brings an elegant yet deep intensity to this dramatic concerto, showcasing the nuanced layers of Mozart’s late-period mastery.
