This is followed by the vibrant colors of Falla’s "Seven Spanish Folksongs" and the fiery, passionate excerpts from Bizet’s "Carmen."

A centerpiece of the evening is Haydn’s Symphony No. 45 in F-sharp minor, the "Farewell" Symphony. Known for its innovative and humorous finale where musicians exit the stage, it serves as a musical farewell to the closing year. The concert concludes with Ravel’s "Boléro," where a simple, hypnotic melody gradually builds to a magnificent orchestral climax, signaling a spirited welcome to the year ahead.
