  • Pierre Boulez: "It never rains" (for electric guitar, viola, cello, and double bass)
  • Terry Riley: "The Cusp of Magic": "Goya" (for electric guitar and string quartet)
  • Steve Reich: "Different Trains": "America – Before the War" (excerpts)
  • Arvo Pärt: "Fratres" (for string quartet)

Performers

This concert brings together a distinguished group of HK Phil musicians, including violinists Miyaka Suzuki and Fang Jie, violist Hong Yifan, cellist Song Taimei, and double bassist Lin Jiefei, who will bring the unique rhythmic and emotional textures of these contemporary masterpieces to life.
