Overview
The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and HKU MUSE join forces to present the chamber music concert, 'A Salute to Brahms: Passion and Tenderness.' This program highlights two of Brahms’ most significant chamber music masterpieces: the String Sextet No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 18, and the Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34. Featuring a distinguished lineup of artists, the performance captures the emotional spectrum—from intense passion to tender lyricism—inherent in Brahms' musical language.
Performers
The concert features a stellar ensemble of musicians, including violinists Wang Liang and Zhu Kaiyuan, conductor and violist Andrew Ling, violist Li Jiali, cellists Richard Bamping and Fang Xiaomu, and pianist Zhang Haochen, who will unite to interpret Brahms' profound musical legacy.
