Exhibition Introduction
"Ling" (Spirit/Numinous) draws inspiration from the ancient ritual of shamans who connected with the universe through prayer and dance to invoke rain. In this graduation exhibition, students of the Higher Diploma in Fine Art at the Hong Kong Art School treat artistic creation as a gentle ritualistic medium, engaging in deep dialogues with their inner selves to examine emotions, growth, and personal experiences. The exhibition translates the private, introspective thoughts and intangible emotions of the creators into tangible, resonant art forms, bridging the gap between personal interiority and public space. Visitors are invited to step into the creators' spiritual worlds and witness every step of their transformation through self-reflection, exploration, and realization.
