Highlights
The 4th "Blooming on the Ground" Fenglei Dance Platform is a major gathering of contemporary dance forces from across China, set to take place in July 2026 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre. Focusing on seven "third-generation" modern dance troupes established between 2010 and 2025, the platform aims to showcase the depth and vitality of cross-regional dance creation. From Beijing to Changsha, and from Guiyang to Jinan, these companies showcase the diversity and symbiosis of contemporary art, making this an unmissable event this summer.

## Program
The event is divided into a Prologue and a Main Series. The prologue features a new production by the Hong Kong Dance Company and guest choreography by "Xuan Nian Space," titled "Miss Me, Come See My Paintings!," which engages in a cross-temporal dialogue with the world of master artist Wu Guanzhong. The main series features six troupes performing over three days in a relay, presenting works titled "Divine • Nix," "Map • Suspension," and "Dawn • Phantom," offering audiences a glimpse into the diverse ecology and cross-disciplinary nature of Chinese modern dance.

## Performers
Participating troupes include: Beijing Eagle Theatre, Changsha Half-Mountain Dancers, Guiyang Wu Dance Company, Jinan Shandong Modern Dance Company, Hong Kong Mo Mei Dance Theatre, and Ningbo Deep Sea Modern Dance Company. Special guests include the Hong Kong Dance Company and Xuan Nian Space.
