2026 Community Music 'Sheng' Advanced Class B

Overview

Part of the '2026 Community Music' series, this Sheng Advanced Class B focuses on elevating students' performance skills and musical creativity. The curriculum covers essential advanced techniques, including G major fingering transitions, as well as the application of single and double tonguing. Students will also explore the structure of rhythmic phrasing and participate in creative exercises to enhance their control and musical expression.

Instructors

Presented by the Centre for Community Cultural Development, the course is taught by experienced instructor Chan Tsz-fung (Green Tea Jun), who brings extensive knowledge in Sheng performance and community music education to the classroom.
