NOĒMA invites you to the "OBSERVER'S PASS," a rare opportunity to step into the heart of a professional choral rehearsal. You will gain behind-the-scenes access to watch world-class vocalists at work and observe how a professional performance is crafted from the ground up.
Program
The event is split into two insightful sessions:
- Session 1 (Afternoon) - Masterclass Coaching: Four vocalists from Tenebrae will guide eight NIVA masterclass students as they prepare for the upcoming eight-part ensemble performance on July 11th. This is an unparalleled chance to observe expert pedagogical techniques in action.
- Session 2 (Evening) - Ensemble Rehearsal: The first half focuses on sectional rehearsals led by Tenebrae vocalists for NOĒMA and NIVA students. In the latter half, NOĒMA's Artistic Director, Apollo Wong, leads the full ensemble, joined by the Tenebrae vocalists, showcasing the synthesis of high-level choral artistry.
