Program Overview
"I'm feeling emo" or "EMO boy/girl" are common phrases among teenagers today to describe their emotions. Derived from "emotional," the term often encapsulates feelings of melancholy, sadness, or a complex blend of overwhelming thoughts. The Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, in collaboration with the Jockey Club's "Heart-to-Heart Voyage" project, has brought together over ten secondary students. Over the past ten months, these students have delved deep into their inner worlds, listening to the flow of their emotions and transforming these intangible feelings into a powerful and vibrant dance performance.
Highlights
This exhibition is not merely a dance show; it is an invitation to a deeper dialogue with the younger generation. Through long-term training and self-exploration, the participating students have learned to coexist with their emotions and are now ready to share their stories through movement. We invite the public to the Laundry Steps at Tai Kwun to step into the performance space created by these teenagers, find moments of resonance, bridge communication gaps, and foster mutual understanding.

The event will be held at the Laundry Steps in Tai Kwun. Located at 10 Hollywood Road, Central, the venue is highly accessible. Attendees can take the MTR to Central Station (Exit D2) or use the Mid-Levels Escalator to arrive directly.
