Harmonica virtuoso Cy Leo returns to his alma mater, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Jockey Club Auditorium, for his highly anticipated 'Two Worlds In One' concert. Marking the 10th anniversary of his graduation, this performance serves as a milestone in his decade-long musical journey, aiming to blur the lines between pop and instrumental music while showcasing the infinite possibilities of the harmonica.

Program

The 'Two Worlds In One' project is a result of a bold vision: consolidating numerous works into 10 original tracks, each presented in both instrumental harmonica and vocal versions. This dual approach aims to bridge the gap between genres, using vocal interpretations as a gateway for pop music fans to explore the world of instrumental music. The tour also fosters regional connections by collaborating with local harmonica communities throughout Asia.

Performers

The evening features an exceptional lineup led by Cy Leo, accompanied by a jazz quintet comprising:

• Drums: Jongkuk Kim
• Bass: Jaeshin Park

Special guest vocalists Ashley Lin and Walter Kwan will also join the stage, adding their unique vocal flair. The ensemble is further bolstered by strings, additional harmonica players, and backing vocalists.
