Highlights
"Music in Tea Time" is a critically acclaimed collaboration between the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. Through a delicate dialogue between tea and music, this performance invites audiences on a cross-cultural journey across geographical boundaries. Tea, originating in China, has traveled the Silk Road to the world, and Hong Kong, a city where East meets West, stands as a modern reflection of this history. From traditional Chinese tea ceremonies to Western tea culture, and even the unique local "Yuenyeung," this concert, curated by Artistic Director Chow Hei-chit, explores the resonance of time and mood through music.
