Overview

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, the Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra (HKYCO) presents the 'Legacy Classics 2027' concert. Since its inception in 2003, HKYCO has been a vital nursery for local musical talent. This special concert serves as a profound reunion, gathering alumni from various generations to form a grand 'Joint Orchestra' to perform in celebration of heritage and continuity.

Many of the former students who honed their skills at HKYCO have since become professional musicians, with some now serving as core members of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. These talented alumni will return to the stage as soloists, demonstrating the vibrant vitality of Chinese music and the tradition of passing the torch to the next generation.
