Highlights

As an extension of the 'Drifting Sea Sounds' exhibition, this walking tour invites the public to step out of the venue and explore the streets of the Eastern District. Guided by the creative team, participants will delve into the iconic 'Monster Building,' interacting with local shops and residents to discover authentic daily life beyond the popular photo spots.

Program

Earlier this year, a group of community creators explored the Eastern District, capturing stories ranging from the residential life in Taikoo Shing to the water sources near Braemar Hill and conversations with veteran gardeners at Taikoo Place. These narratives have been compiled into 11 zines. During the 'Drifting Sea Sounds' exhibition, three walking tours will be held to invite you to 'jump into the later sea' and explore the community. The tour will be led by creators Crystal, Sherry, Cecilia, and Chloe, who will introduce you to the real-life landscape of the Monster Building and its local shops.
