Overview

The name "Hong Kong" is historically linked to its past as a hub for transporting agarwood incense, while the "Tai Hang Fire Dragon" remains a vital piece of the city's intangible cultural heritage. Supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and organized by the Hong Kong Culture and Heritage Resources Centre, this workshop invites Mr. Wong Tsz-chung, founder of "HK Incense," to guide participants through the historical connections between incense culture and the Fire Dragon ritual. Participants will gain insights into these traditions and engage in a hands-on session creating traditional incense.
