Highlights
"Me Amo: Self-Portrait & Performance Project" is an introspective journey bridging the worlds of visual art and theatre. Curated by Lo Wan-yuet, this project brings together 12 individuals navigating their experiences with anxiety or depression. Under the guidance of painting and drama mentors, they have transformed their internal emotional landscape into expressive colors and lines. The event is not just an exhibition of works, but an invitation for the audience to enter the creators' internal worlds and witness their journey toward self-acceptance and self-love.
Program
The event encompasses both a static art exhibition and a dynamic interactive performance. The exhibition showcases dozens of artworks representing profound self-exploration, with each frame serving as a window into the creator's dialogue with themselves. The interactive performances integrate personal storytelling into a choreographed experience that interacts with the displayed artwork. Audiences will wander freely through the space, connecting with the unique narratives and celebrating the resilience of the creators.
