Program Overview
Step into the 'Playground,' where no one asks how high you can climb or how fast you can run. The Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong proudly presents the multimedia music theatre production 'Playground,' an innovative work merging music, movement, and visual technology to redefine the boundaries of freedom and exploration.
In this production, the stage is transformed into a fluid, interactive installation space. Artistic Director Keith Lam re-imagines the playground as a giant musical instrument, where the bodies of performers, visuals, and soundscapes co-create in real-time, responding dynamically to the energy of the performance. Music Director Cheung Wing-nok revitalizes traditional folk songs and Nanyin, blending them with contemporary instrumental and electronic sounds to create a layered, ever-evolving soundscape. This is not merely a performance to be observed, but a continuous dialogue that invites audiences—regardless of their musical or dance background—to follow their instincts and immerse themselves in the shared experience.
