Program Introduction

The "Fossil Hunter" workshop offers a unique journey into the world of paleontology. More than just a science class, this hands-on experience allows participants to dive deep into the history of evolution. Throughout the two-hour session, professional instructors will guide you through the process of species development, followed by a hands-on session where you will crack open rocks to uncover and take home your very own ancient marine fossils. It is a sensory journey that is as educational as it is thrilling.

• Hands-on Fossil Hunting: Move beyond passive learning. Participants will use professional tools to extract fossils from rocks, capturing the excitement of the hunt and bringing home a piece of ancient history.
• Discover the World of Paleontology: Get an up-close look at various rare fossil specimens in our studio and gain a systematic understanding of biological evolution.
• Family Bonding: This workshop is ideal for families. Children aged 7-13 are welcome to participate with an accompanying parent, making it a perfect opportunity to explore the wonders of nature together.

Important Notes

• As space is limited and to ensure the quality of instruction, please arrive on time. Latecomers will not be admitted.
• Equipment: Certain fossil excavation tools and recording equipment are studio property and may not be taken home.
• Weather Arrangements: The event may be cancelled or rescheduled in the event of severe weather conditions, such as Black Rainstorm or Typhoon Signal No. 3, depending on the actual conditions on the day.
