"The Pulse of a New Era" - International Wind Ensemble Academy & Festival Asia Tour Concert

The International Wind Ensemble Academy & Festival (IWAF) Asia Tour Concert is dedicated to promoting international exchange and the dissemination of contemporary wind ensemble works. Hosted by the International Music & Education Academy & Festival Association (IMEAFA), the concert serves as an international platform for elite young musicians from around the world to showcase high-level wind ensemble performances.

Performers

The concert features conductor Sun He leading the festival orchestra, joined by clarinetist Zhou Xiangyu, promising an evening of technical mastery and artistic expression. The orchestra comprises talented young musicians selected through a global audition process, ranging from conservatory students to professional orchestral players.

Program

The IWAF Festival Orchestra aims to foster international perspectives among young musicians, provide a platform for contemporary compositions, and contribute to the cultural development of the Greater Bay Area. The program explores the diversity and creativity inherent in contemporary wind music.
