Cactus Theatre presents the Hong Kong premiere of 'Play House' by renowned British contemporary playwright Martin Crimp. Through a blend of text-based and devised performance, the production delves into the complex realities of modern intimacy. The narrative centers on a young couple navigating the process of building a home—covering fragments of life ranging from sex, work, and parenting, to dealing with parents, quirky neighbors, cleaning the fridge, and dancing.

Using fragmented scenes and sharp, precise language, the performance pieces together the cruel truths behind intimate relationships: the closer you are, the greater the friction; the deeper the love, the stronger the resistance.
