Program

The concert features a carefully curated selection of diverse pieces, guiding the audience through an exploration of the brass repertoire. The program includes classic compositions and contemporary works, such as:

• Rhapsody - LANGFORD
• Brasilia - DEWHURST
• Oblivion - PIAZOLLA
• Quatre à Quatre - NAULAIS (Hong Kong Premiere)
• Plus performances by the Brass Molecules ensemble and outstanding students from the trombone training camp.

Performers

The concert boasts a stellar lineup, featuring the world-renowned French trombone master Nicolas Lapierre and the acclaimed French trombone quartet Rotomagus Trombones. Locally, the performance includes trombonists Tsui Siu-fai and Li Man-chung, with pianist Wong Hoi-yan collaborating. The Hong Kong Festival Youth Symphonic Band will also join these international and local musicians to present a spectacular brass musical feast, conducted by Cheung King-kit.

The concert will be held at the Hall of the Sai Tso Wan Neighbourhood Community Centre (Address: Sai Tso Wan Neighbourhood Community Centre, Lam Tin, Kwun Tong). Audience members are advised to arrive early.
