"Self-Exploration: Trial Explosion Project!" is dedicated to providing a platform for young creators to experiment and showcase their potential. Under professional guidance, participants transform their creative visions into fully realized stage performances. This project empowers young artists to break through boundaries, presenting two unique staged readings—"The Arctic Fox on the Frozen Lake" and "Soul in One Pitch"—that allow the audience to experience the growth and refinement of each production.

Program

This project features two distinct staged readings:

The Arctic Fox on the Frozen Lake (also known as A Solo Trekking Journey)

This story explores a promise to find answers at a mythical frozen lake. When only one person remains to embark on the journey, she carries her gear into a world that defies reality. Along the way, she encounters an Arctic Fox, snow in the desert, and shifting landscapes. Is the pursuit of the answer more important than the truth itself?

Soul in One Pitch

This play centers on the baseball journey of the rookie pitcher Cheung Chor-kiu. Facing the immense pressure of the professional league and the presence of elite catchers and veterans, he struggles with errors and setbacks. This journey forces him to confront his inner knots: are the curveballs he masters a way to extend his career, or a method to evade his problems?

Creative Team

This project is organized by Theatre Formula, with Lucille Lo as the Presenter/Co-Director/Directing Mentor, Chung Yik-chun as Acting Mentor, and Chow Pan-kwan as Scriptwriting Mentor. The team also includes Producer Li Tsz-ying, Executive Producer dirtywork, and Production Manager Yu Man-hin, all working together to support emerging talent.
