Program Overview

Hosted by the HKAF Youth Friends, the "Theatre Adaptation Creative Day Camp" is a four-day immersive art experience designed specifically for local tertiary students. The program aims to encourage students to step out of the classroom, explore the creative intersection between literary classics and theatrical performance, and learn how to translate text into contemporary theatrical language.

Highlights

• Literary Translation: Draw inspiration from world classics and local literature to deeply deconstruct the spirit of original works.
• Urban Field Studies: Experiment with the narrative potential of non-traditional theatre spaces through city walks and field observations.
• Final Presentation: Under the guidance of professional mentors, participants will present their creative adaptation proposals on the fourth day.
• Deep Exchange: Engage in close-up dialogues with seasoned performing arts professionals.

Ticketing Info

• Non-members: HK$200 (includes 2026/27 HKAF Youth Friends membership).
• Members: Free for 2025/26 HKAF Youth Friends members and 2026/27 priority registration members.
