- Curator-led Tours: Conducted by curator Wong Hei-ting on August 2, 2026. Cantonese session at 4:00 PM, English session at 2:00 PM, including visits to the artist studios.
Performers
The residency brought together two co-curators, five Czech artists, and six Hong Kong artists. Throughout their stay, they exchanged ideas and explored the natural rhythm of Ma Wan, translating their observations into a unique artistic vocabulary that challenges our perception of the environment.

The main exhibition is hosted at Ma Wan 1868 (House 52), a site rich in historical character that provides a unique backdrop for the works. Visitors can travel to Ma Wan via public transport to enjoy the art in a serene island setting, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The exhibition is free of charge. Pre-registration is required for the artist talks and curator-led tours to get an in-depth understanding of the inaugural residency programme's achievements and creative narratives.
