Event Highlights
This workshop dismantles traditional definitions of "art," stripping away rules and the pressure of "drawing well." It is an invitation to pure creative collision. Through "creative random prompts," you will learn to extract inspiration from everyday materials and transform mundane snippets into warm, tactile visual poetry.
Program
A Zine is more than just a collection of paper; it is an undefined stream of consciousness. In this workshop, you will become a material experimenter, utilizing discarded scraps—yellowing receipts, torn wrapping paper, fabric scraps from your pocket, or even fallen leaves gathered on your way. You will reorganize these seemingly useless fragments into a unique, handmade zine. With on-site random prompts, you will be guided through a fun experiment that requires no prior drawing experience, allowing you to discover the joy of creation through the intersection of materials and vision.
Ticketing
The participation fee is HK$50. This covers all necessary materials and includes one cup of fair-trade black coffee or tea. Space is limited, so please register via the Online Registration Form.
Venue & Access
The workshop will be held at "COMMONING@基隆144," located at G/F, 144 Ki Lung Street, Sham Shui Po. This space is dedicated to community and creative connection, providing an ideal setting for handmade crafts and cultural exchange.
