"The 'Super-Light-Speed Blue Bus' Musical" is a poignant exploration of growth, family bonds, and the journey toward personal redemption. The story centers on Fang Ruoqing, a dedicated young social worker who juggles the heavy responsibility of caring for her younger sister while managing complex cases involving families of rehabilitated individuals. Following the premature passing of their mother and the imprisonment of their father, Fang has become the pillar of her family, supported by her grandmother. However, the weight of her professional duties and the burden of family secrets cause her to inadvertently neglect her sister's emotional needs. As her sister's behavior shifts, she begins to yearn for the mythical "Super-Light-Speed Blue Bus," hoping to turn back time and return to a happier past. Through evocative storytelling and original music, the production invites audiences to reflect on how families navigate adversity and mend the cracks in their relationships.

The production features a talented creative team, written, directed, and with lyrics by Chan Mei-lei, and musically directed by Lam Tsz-yeung. Their collaboration ensures a moving and immersive experience that resonates deeply with the audience.

This event is proudly presented by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong, the Blue Bus Jockey Club "Grow Together" Project, and Revive Theatre, aiming to foster social awareness and personal growth through the power of theater.
