A graduate of the Juilliard School and the winner of the prestigious 2025 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Kortum has rapidly ascended the international stage. Her signature style—a lush, velvety voice that effortlessly bridges the gap between bebop, blues, the Great American Songbook, and musical theatre—offers listeners a fresh, contemporary perspective on the jazz tradition.

Following the success of her acclaimed debut album, Good Woman, and her sophomore LP, Wild Woman, Kortum has captivated audiences at iconic venues like Birdland, Blue Note, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
