Produced by Tsuburaya Productions with Hirokazu Kore-eda as the planner, and directed by Yutaka Nakamura and Kazuki Yoshida, the film explores the core question: "What is Ultraman?" Through rare archival footage, interviews with original cast members, and insights from production staff, the film examines the origins, design aesthetics, and the profound influence of the series over the last half-century. The film captures how the original production team held firm to the belief that "shows for children must present the essence of things," paving the way for the future of the tokusatsu genre.
