RCMA is honored to host a piano masterclass featuring Dr. Shen Lu, recognized as one of the "Top 10 Chinese Pianists." A doctorate holder in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a laureate of the prestigious Golden Bell Award, Shen Lu currently serves on the faculty at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. This masterclass offers a rare opportunity to witness his pedagogical expertise and gain insight into the nuances of piano performance and interpretation.
Program & Students
Three talented students will perform selected classical repertoire, receiving personalized guidance from Shen Lu:
- Luo Xinyou: Chopin - Ballade No. 3, Op. 47
- Li Tianhao: Bach - Italian Concerto, BWV 971, 3rd movement: Presto
- Wei Zinuo: Brahms - Intermezzo in A major, Op. 118, No. 2
