About the Artist

Qiu Jun-lin is a prominent figure in the local music scene. Currently an Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Bamboo Flute Society, she also serves as a host for RTHK Radio 4. Her impressive portfolio includes collaborations with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and the Macau Chinese Orchestra. A graduate of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Master of Music (Distinction), she trained under renowned masters including Sun Yongzhi for Dizi and Tam Po-shek for Dongxiao. Notable achievements include being named a "RTHK Music Scholar" in 2019 and winning the Gold Award at the 5th "Songting Cup" National Dizi and Xiao Invitational Competition.
