As a core component of the Asia Pacific Youth Music Festival 2026, this competition serves as an international platform for bands across the Asia Pacific region to showcase their creativity, exchange musical ideas, and push the boundaries of youth performance.

• Showcase Opportunity: The competition invites bands from Hong Kong and the wider Asia Pacific region to compete. The 12 selected finalist bands will be invited to perform at the "Asia Pacific Sonic Surge 2026" stage (formerly known as the Asia Pacific Music Festival), allowing them to perform at the iconic Victoria Harbour waterfront.
• Networking: Beyond the competition, participants gain invaluable exposure and the chance to connect with peers and industry figures from diverse backgrounds.
• Future Prospects: Finalist bands from Hong Kong will be given priority consideration for future performance opportunities managed by the organizers, helping to sustain their musical journey.

Participation Details

• Entry Fee: HK$500 per band.
