Photography Exhibition: "How Many Kinds of Light Does a City Have"

Overview

OM SYSTEM and art-mate present "How Many Kinds of Light Does a City Have," a multidisciplinary urban project comprising a photography exhibition, thematic sharing sessions, and equipment trials. This event invites the audience to rethink and discover the diverse light and shadow perspectives hidden within the urban fabric of Hong Kong.

Highlights

This exhibition brings together five creators from diverse backgrounds—theater direction, jazz music, movement arts, lighting design, and visual arts. Using the OM-3 camera as their primary creative tool, they explore Hong Kong’s urban landscape, finding unique angles and presenting five distinct urban topographies. Visitors will witness through their lens how these artists capture fleeting urban light.

Thematic Sharing Sessions

Two special sessions titled "OM3 and Five Perspectives｜The Birth of an Exhibition" will be held. Artists and project curators will guide the audience through the creative journey, breaking down the project's development. These sessions will feature previously unreleased works and candid discussions on how the OM-3 camera influenced the creative process. A hands-on camera experience session will follow each talk, allowing attendees to test the equipment personally.
