Overview

TWGHs Tung Po presents the 'Stage Shadow Project', a unique program combining intensive acting training with a Halloween interactive theatre production. This is more than just an acting course; it is an immersive journey into theatre creation from the ground up. Under the guidance of veteran theatre artist Wong Chiu-sum, participants will delve into the core of acting and gain hands-on experience in every aspect of theatrical production.

Highlights

• Comprehensive Training: Learn acting theory, character development, vocal expression, and physical control from scratch, establishing a solid foundation.
• Immersive Creative Process: Collaboratively brainstorm scripts, create props, and design sets, experiencing the entire behind-the-scenes workflow of a theatre production.
• Practical Performance: Culminate the course in late October by collaborating with professional directors, actors, and technicians to produce a holiday-themed interactive performance.

Program Structure

1. Acting Training: 14 sessions of intensive skill-building.
2. Training Camp: Two full-day sessions focused on refining performance techniques and teamwork.
3. Stage Practice: Load-in week followed by at least two public performances.

• Eligibility: Youths aged 18-35 with an interest in acting.
