"Dance of Time: City and Body Stories" is a unique choreographic showcase that transcends generational boundaries, delving deep into the relationship between artistic creation, bodily memory, and time. This production features a brand-new work, CROSSING - Ready to Return, by the internationally acclaimed Norwegian choreographer Sølvi Edvardsen, alongside Roots in the Wind, a collaborative piece by local choreographers Hui Chun-kit, Kwok Hiu-ling, and Wong Ching-ting.

About the Program

Using the body as a primary vessel for expression, the performance utilizes dynamic stage movement and space to weave stories of the city through the lens of time. The choreographers aim to dismantle traditional dance conventions, displaying the collision and fusion of energy between different generations of performers. Through a 90-minute journey, audience members will explore the resonance of rhythm, movement, and emotion, reflecting on how dance can serve as a testament to urban evolution and human experience.
