City Reverie, curated by Joel Kwong, is an experimental project that transcends traditional concert formats. Part of the Arts • Tech 4.0 series, this event bridges the gap between music, technology, and human emotion, offering a profound reflection on the relationship between the urban environment and its inhabitants through interactive digital landscapes.

Program

The project features two distinct components:

1. Immersive Data-Driven Performance: Taking place on October 8 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio, this one-night-only event unites Music Director Fung Lam, Media Artist Vvzela Kook, and Art Director Silver Cheung to transform real-time data into a poetic dialogue about the city.
2. Digital Playground: Available online from October 2 to 22. This virtual exhibition features hand-drawn maps by Vvzela Kook, inviting participants to navigate a virtual Hong Kong through an interactive, cross-temporal experience. This portion of the event is free to access.

Venue & Access

The live performance will be held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio, located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. It is easily accessible via the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and various public transport routes.
