Highlights
The Hong Kong Arts Centre is committed to promoting inclusive art, and this 'Inclusive Community Tour' is specifically designed for people of all abilities. The tour centers on the concept of 'sound,' using audio description to transform visual art into a rich auditory experience. This approach breaks down traditional boundaries, ensuring that every participant can deeply engage with and appreciate the power of art.
Program
The tour focuses on the exhibition 'Field/Collision/Collaboration.' Through detailed descriptions and interpretations provided by the guides, participants will be taken on a journey through the underlying concepts and artistic intent of the works on display. This activity aims to establish an equitable platform for artistic dialogue, allowing everyone to share the joy of art, regardless of their visual abilities. The sessions will be held in September 2026, and we warmly invite everyone to join.
Performers
The tours are conducted by professional audio describers Ngan So-yan, Min Bao, and Chan Kit-mei (Gam Mei), who bring extensive experience and depth to the guided experience.
