Celebrating 8 Years of Musical Passion

The HKYWCA Sound & Music Wind Band (香港基督教女青年會 聲大夾樂管樂社) proudly celebrates its 8th Anniversary with a dedicated performance, "Joy with Everyone" (與眾童樂). Established in 2018, the band has grown from a small group of 8 passionate volunteers into a vibrant ensemble of 40 members, including working youths, college students, and secondary school students. This concert serves as a milestone, showcasing their commitment to promoting wind music in the community.

This year's theme, "Joy with Everyone," emphasizes inclusivity and the power of music to bridge generations. A major highlight of the evening is the band's collaboration with the HKYWCA Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre's choir. Together, they will present a special "stage debut" performance of the touching classic, "Somewhere Out There." This collaboration aims to provide young participants with the opportunity to perform on a professional stage, fulfilling their musical dreams while sharing positivity with the audience.
