Highlights
Designed for infants aged 0-36 months, this sensory opera transforms the mundane 'laundry day' into a magical journey through the four seasons. Presented by Opera Box as part of the O!Blox series, the performance bridges the gap between Baroque music and early childhood education through immersive, interactive play. It also serves as a thematic prelude to the major production of Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea scheduled for February 2027.
Program
Under the direction of producer and director Ng Ngai-chi, the performance utilizes everyday laundry items and interactive props to introduce the delicate music of Monteverdi to young ears. The show lasts approximately 40 minutes with no intermission. The performance is sung in Italian and features unassigned seating.
