The 11th edition of the 'Sunshine REIT Maji Meow Hunger Run 2026' is more than just a race; it is a charity event that transforms sweat into goodwill. Organized by 'FOODSPORT', this year’s event features the beloved Taiwanese character 'Maji Meow' as the promotional ambassador. The biggest highlight is the introduction of the '1km Human-Pet Inclusive Run', allowing participants to run alongside their furry friends while crossing the iconic 'Tseung Kwan O Cross Bay Link', offering a unique athletic experience with stunning coastal views.

Program

The event offers various categories, including 10km and 4km races, as well as the casual 1km Human-Pet Run. Participants' calorie expenditure is converted into donations and food supplies for 'Feeding Hong Kong' and animal shelters to support underprivileged families and stray animals. On the event day, the 'Hungry Carnival' at MCP Discovery (New都城中心一期) offers participants a chance to enjoy complimentary gourmet treats upon presenting their race bib. There will also be a 'Best Costume Award' to encourage creativity and add extra joy to the competition.

Ticketing

Registration is open until October 9, 2026. Every participant will receive a Maji Meow-themed runner's pack and a completion medal, with exclusive medals for pets participating in the inclusive run. Venue & Access

The event takes place at the Tseung Kwan O Waterfront. To ensure convenience for participants and their pets, the organizer has arranged pet-friendly shuttle buses between the venue, MCP Discovery, and Po Lam MTR Station, ensuring a stress-free travel experience for everyone involved in this meaningful sporting event.
