Program Overview
Blindspot Gallery proudly presents the group exhibition "Soft Borders," bringing together works from six artists from diverse geographical backgrounds, including Igshaan Adams, Bi Rongrong, Kazuko Miyamoto, Angela Su, Aiko Tezuka, and Yee I-Lann. This exhibition invites the audience to explore how social, cultural, historical, and geographic boundaries are stretched, loosened, and reconstructed in contemporary contexts through the artists' diverse materials and practices.

Focusing on core issues such as community, labor, technology, and globalization, the exhibition elevates textile and fiber art to new heights. The artists break free from traditional media constraints, expanding their creative materials from basic threads to include beads, copper wire, bamboo, hair, metal, and enamel. These works serve as sites of negotiation between bodies and systems, craftsmanship and machinery, and softness and strength.
